Sunday School
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages! Children will learn the stories of the Bible in a helpful and encouraging environment. Teens will enjoy a practical lesson from Scripture as well as be challenged on how to share the love of Christ to others. Adult Sunday School classes are a great way to get connected to other believers at Fairmont. Classes are organized differently each quarter (but usually by age) so that you can get to know others in your particular life-stage. Classes begin in their designated classrooms at 10:00 AM.
Adult Sunday School classes were created at Fairmont for the purpose of encouraging attenders to talk more about their faith with one another and to get into the Word of God for biblical answers. Class focus changes every quarter so that we are able to see a broad view of Scripture.
In September we will be expanding our Adult Sunday School offerings. In addition to our adult class we will offer a class just for men and a class just for women on a variety of topics. Those classes will be more discussion oriented.
Young Adult
There is a class specifically for those of post-high school age. Those of you in this stage of life are very busy and often have new life challenges. This class is designed to meet the needs of the day as we learn how to study the Bible and apply it to our lives. This class meets at the parsonage.
Kids!
For kids, Cross Seekers is a fun-filled Sunday children’s program for ages 5-12 equipping future generations with the knowledge, understanding and applications of God’s Word and Christ’s love. Our family focused program allows children to set a firm Biblical foundation through song, worship, crafts, praise, and fun!
Discipleship
At Fairmont Baptist Church, we believe that all Christians should be involved in discipleship (helping others follow Jesus Christ). If you are looking to know more about living a life that follows Jesus we will match you with someone who can guide and mentor you.
Music Ministry
Music that worships Christ and points our attention to the gospel is something that we strive for in every service. We have several volunteers who serve in this area. There are many ways you can get involved to use your talents to lead the congregation in praise to God.
